Zombie Modus Tips & Tricks
So ein Thema speziel für den zombie modus wo ihr eure tips und tricks austauschen könnt.

I already posted this in a response, but I'd like to start a thread on it for
people wanting help or insight on da' zombies...My roommate and I have made it
to level 21, and get around 19-21 consistently, with the potential to go much
higher. Here's the catch:
1)Stay in the first room through round 4, one person watches upstairs and
bottom on the same side, other watches two bottom entrances)
2)Round 1: 3 pistol shots and then knife (max points)
3)Round 2: 7-8 pistol shots and then knife. If you don't get max ammo, buy the
M14 (you'll need to anyway) and do one in the gut and then knife.
4)Round 3: Two gut shots (M14) and knife
5)Round 4: 3 gut shots and then knife...be careful here though as it will get
hectic with this strategy. If s*** goes down, just start shooting. SAVE ONE
ZOMBIE at the end of this and every round hereafter. You use this to get time
to re-build walls (gain points) and plan strategies, which I'll talk about now...
6)With the zombie still wondering, open up the bottom floor and then the door
into the alley. You both should have between 4-5k from the rounds by now.
[face_money_eyes] If the mystery box is in the room or the alley, you're in the
green. You want a ray gun, thundergun, shotgun or machine gun...or you'll never
make it. The SMG's off the wall are alright, but not good enough in the later
rounds. If there is no mystery box, buy one of the SMG's and hold up in the alley.
6) Have both of you protect the alley where the fence is blocking the two
entryways. Stand back to back and take em on! You can survive to round 10 just
in this alley, and it's easy to rack up headshots and points as they come at
you in a single-file line. (Dogs are easy here as well, and are always easy. Be
out in the open and move around.)
7) Eventually (round 9-10) open the 2 more doors to get to the power and turn
the power on. **LOOK-Remember keeping a zombie alive? You must do this!!! While
there is one stumbling around (or chasing you two), turn the power on, and then
activate the transporter. First in the theater, then the main room and it will
be activated. This is where you will now start every round, inside the
transporter in the theater.
Buy Juggernog 1st, then pack-a-punch your best gun (hopefully raygun!!)when
you teleport. When the round starts, you're both in the transporter. When you
get swarmed, hold X and you'll be above them. Throw grenades all day long (buy
more on the wall) and pack-a-punch if you have the money.
You'll re-appear in the main room. IMMEDIATELY run to the alley, but turn
around and spray the hallway where they will pour out of the theater from.
Basically, you're going to run a lap, shooting all the zombies chasing you and
not stopping for more than a few seconds, as they will start to spawn in front
of you and trap you. Continue to run laps until you've killed all but 1 or 2 of
them, then re-activate the transporter, buy from the box, and when you have
money, open then other rooms to get to the stairs where the Speed Cola is (as
it's very helpful as well). Making sure the whole time that at least one is
alive. If you don't have the teleporter activated and ready with you in it at
the beginning of every round, you'll die.
9)Rinse and repeat, and with luck (good guns from the box, max ammos, etc)
you'll go on forever!! We died due to crappy mystery box weapons, running out
of ammo and just being screwed in that regard. The time we made it to 21, we
had everything we needed (ray gun and thunder, both Pack-a-Punched) but got
cocky and stopped moving around, thus, getting surrounded. [face_doh!]
**NOTE: You need the box to survive. If it's not in the pathway described, once
the power is on the maps will show you where it is. Get there and hope for some
goods!! Hope this helps all who read it. My roommate and I honestly feel that
we could go forever with the right circumstances, and it's become routine to
get to level 17 and up with this strategy. Addicting too!! Happy hunting.

This is a good upgrade if you just respawned after dying. Useful for taking out crowds, however Splash Damage could hurt or even down the user, making Jugger-Nog recommended.

Special Power-Ups (random drops)
During the game there will be instances where killing a Zombie will ellicit a random power-up drop. These last for a short amount of time, and while you may be tempted to just use them all willy-nilly, there is a lot of strategy to some of these. Also keep in mind that these power-ups can be stacked on top of one another. My favorite one is definitely Double Points plus Instakill.
NUKE
This one is easy enough. It's a giant golden, floating bomb, and when you use it all zombies on the map explode. This won't however end the round, unless all the zombies are readily available for ultimate death. The best strategy I have found with this is to try to use it towards the end of the round, or at least when there are a lot of zombies around. It will be tempting to grab it immediately, but take a step back and survey the landscape. Nothing pisses me off more than when someone uses it when there is one freaking zombie on the map!
CARPENTER
This one repairs all the barricades. It's a giant floating, golden hammer. While it does give you 200 points, it's a whole lot less than if you were to repair them all manually. Nonetheless, this is a great power-up to use immediately, especially if you are under attack by a horde of flesh-eating freakbags.
INSTAKILL
If you see a golden skull in front of you, that's an Instakill. When you use it, all zombies become one-hit kills. Key strategy here is to pull out your knife or pistol, and go to town! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MAIN WEAPONS AMMO when an Instakill is activated. This is the perfect opportunity to get a grasp on the wave.
DOUBLE POINTS
See that floating "X2" symbol? No, that's not a reference to the second X-Men movie, it's a double points power-up, and it does just that. In other words, a hit that usually gives you 10 points now gives you 20. Easy enough right? Such an amazing power-up due to the fact that your points accumulate so much faster, allowing you to open doors, purchase weapons, set traps, and whatever else you need money for a lot faster.
MAX AMMO
From what I have noticed, this is the most common power-up you will see. When you activate it, your ammo will refill. If you are all using a headset (which you should be), make sure to tell everyone to reload right before you pick this up.
One huge advantage to this power-up is that it refills your Mystery Box Weapons. This is the only way to do this, making this power-up one of the most important ones.
DEATH MACHINE
This is only available in the "Five" map (although rumors claim it will be available on the DLC maps soon). The Death Machine is a giant minigun you can use for a short period of time. It's just a whole lot of badass.

During the game there will be instances where killing a Zombie will ellicit a random power-up drop. These last for a short amount of time, and while you may be tempted to just use them all willy-nilly, there is a lot of strategy to some of these. Also keep in mind that these power-ups can be stacked on top of one another. My favorite one is definitely Double Points plus Instakill.
NUKE
This one is easy enough. It's a giant golden, floating bomb, and when you use it all zombies on the map explode. This won't however end the round, unless all the zombies are readily available for ultimate death. The best strategy I have found with this is to try to use it towards the end of the round, or at least when there are a lot of zombies around. It will be tempting to grab it immediately, but take a step back and survey the landscape. Nothing pisses me off more than when someone uses it when there is one freaking zombie on the map!
CARPENTER
This one repairs all the barricades. It's a giant floating, golden hammer. While it does give you 200 points, it's a whole lot less than if you were to repair them all manually. Nonetheless, this is a great power-up to use immediately, especially if you are under attack by a horde of flesh-eating freakbags.
INSTAKILL
If you see a golden skull in front of you, that's an Instakill. When you use it, all zombies become one-hit kills. Key strategy here is to pull out your knife or pistol, and go to town! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MAIN WEAPONS AMMO when an Instakill is activated. This is the perfect opportunity to get a grasp on the wave.

Perks
Every map has Perks hidden within them. You can buy them in vending machines, and they give you... well, Perks. Simple enough I s'pose.
Quick Revive:
$500 Solo/$1500 Co-Op
In solo mode, when you get downed, you get revived (limit 3).
In Co-Op Mode, it allows you to revive a down partner a lot quicker than if you didn't have one.
Pack-A-Punch
$5000
It's a weapon upgrade. Use it on a normal weapon and it morphs into a super awesome one!!! Ahhh!!!
Jugger-Nog
$2500
You'll absolutely need this if you want to succeed solo (but come on, just get some friends already). It lets you run past Zombies and still survive if you are hit a couple of times. Something that won't happen without it.
Double Tap Root Beer
$2000
This speeds up your gun's rate of fire (the opposite effect of alcohol)

After you turn the power on, head for this upgrade asap. It reduces your reload time by half, and after the power is on, the zombies go crazy...er.

Habe mir jetzt die Waffenliste mal komplett durchgelesen, scheint so,
dass nur 6 Waffen in die engere Wahl kommen.
Stakeout, Spas, M16, AUG, Ray Gun sowie Thunder Gun - wenn die Magic Box mitspielt

armbrust ist noch sehr wichtig da man blitzschnell die gegner von einem weglocken kann
hs10 ist auch sehr nice verliert nur in späteren runden, da man doch extrem auf nahkampf gehen muss

Da die Armbrust "nur" ein Lockmittel und keine geile Powerwaffe ist,
bzw die HS10 später nur im Nahkampf was reisst, habe ich beide Waffen nicht in meine Liste genommen

ich denke mal optimal kommt die armbrust mit der railgun zum einsatz obwohl man da natürlich aufpassen muss das diese nicht oom geht sonst steht man nurnoch mitn bow da... viel mit fallen spieln mit der kombi ist wohl das beste. ich werds heute abend hoffentlich testen können wen mich das glück nicht verlässt
